    based on our experience (family of 4)...this is a must try for any one who likes those popular steak houses here in a big town called San Antonio. we drove out for a dinner with the family and WORTH the drive. chicken fried steak...huge the flavor even bigger. my porter house...off the hook. No sauce, just salt and pepper and the flavor was delicious. appetizers were plentiful. nice country atmosphere. can't give 5 because I asked for seared with a nice edge crust and my steak didn't come like I wanted...still delicious

    Let me start with AWESOME! I had a great experience in general. The server was on point, the food was delicious, their sweet tea and drinks were good. There was a guy playing music which was a great addition to the experience. Overall if you're around the area, you should definitely try this place. They also gave a saloon on the back, the server said it's normally open after 5:30. Enjoy!

    On our way back home from weekend getaway, we stopped at this little town D-Hanis, TX. It's about an hour West from San Antonio on Highway 90. This little town reminded me of my hometown Soledad in Northern California. Christine ordered butterfly shrimp homemade mashed potatoes and fried okra. I had a juicy chicken breast stuffed with spinach also homemade mashed potatoes and okra. The atmosphere felt like you're eating at Grandma's house service was excellent. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend you take this little trip.

    Reliably good. **Service and food are always top notched. Check the specials board as you enter. Priced right and very filling.

    Great food... great service... and Ronnie Mason was in the house playing. Had not been back in while.... but this was a great night.
